About

Photography started for me when my dad needed an assistant. He photographed for my brother’s football team and was beginning to photograph for our city’s entire youth league. Because of this, he needed someone to photograph the crowds and other aspects of the games. Today, it is still very much a father-daughter business. Our images appear in our local newspapers, and we continue to photograph the Topsfield Fair every year.

I graduated in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Lesley Art and Design in Cambridge with a thesis project titled “The Trees Speak for Me”. The project itself is ongoing, and I continue to observe how human beings interact with and connect themselves with nature every day. At Lesley Art and Design, I was introduced to photographing and processing my own film, starting with 35mm, moving to 120mm, as well as large format, which I do during my free time.

I work full-time as a product photographer and spend weekends photographing weddings, families, and couples. I am also obtaining my MFA in Visual Arts at Lesley University and will enter my second year this fall.

Diana Captures was officially registered as a business in 2021. Before that, I was an intern with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, photographed events for the Museum as a freelancer (all images are available upon request but remain property of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston), and continue to work as a photographer for the Topsfield Fair in Topsfield Massachusetts, as well as freelancing for Kyle Klein in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I have experience photographing weddings, headshots, senior portraits, and family and couple portraits.
