These images come from my nine years as an official photographer for the Topsfield Fair and the Essex County Agricultural Society in Topsfield, Massachusetts. The Topsfield Fair is America’s oldest fair and celebrated its 200th birthday in October 2018 and continues to stay true to its agricultural roots while adapting to the times, ensuring that the American tradition stays alive. For ten days every year, the fair serves as a microcosm where people from various socio-economic backgrounds gather to celebrate their local farming community while indulging in apple pie, turkey legs, and carnival rides.
